Oh my goodness. What can I say about this session except I fell in love with it instantly! He was such a good baby and oh so tiny and adorably cute. This night presented a quandary as I love to shoot out in the natural light but the weather decided to throw me a curve ball by raining. Searching around for an indoor location provided to be a challenge but I found one that was the perfect place to such a quandary to be solved at. The owner's of this barn were so gracious and they even had already decorated a little bit for a few other parties they held in their barn earlier in the month. This family holds a special place in my heart. We have been friends for such a long time and I have watched their children grow up and have seen their personalities emerge. It was an honor to take their family pictures and I loved the setting they chose because it is such a compliment to them. Oh my goodness, what a cold morning!!! This brave family came out in the early morning hours to get some family pictures and boy were they cold! Yet, they were troopers and the family pictures we got were fantastic. I loved everyone's humor and patience during the whole experience. The humor of this family was very evident right from the very start when I was feeling pretty good about having everyone's names straight, then the dad tries to pull a fast one on me and makes me think, for 3 seconds, that I mixed up their names. That set the tone for the rest of the session as parent's teased children and children teased parents to make it full of laughter from beginning to end. Another great family session on this day. We stayed close to home for this one and I loved how every thing turned out. From the crisp leaves to the golden light, it was all perfection. We even started the day of just perfect by taking a trip through the low lying branches of the trees, which made for a very memorable time. The best compliment I can give this family is that I love and adore the personalities of each member. I couldn't stop taking pictures of them because every time I would stop, I would see another cute moment to capture. We went to two locations that each had their own unique feel to them. This family would look good in any setting they stepped in to. Towards the end it was getting a wee bit frigid but they pressed on and finished strong. I loved this family session. The personalities that abounded were so fantastic and I couldn't wait to see just exactly what the children would do next. I love it when youth ask me to take pictures for dances. It is such a fun time and I love every minute of it. These two couples were so cute. They dressed up to the hilt, props included and were fantastic about doing anything I asked and had great personalities to boot!!! Personalities abound in this wonderful family. I love how they would tease each other during their session and laughter rang out. You could tell that their children loved each other and there are some special bonds between the siblings too. I love it when I get a chance to do Urban photography. It's a fun change from the mountains, fields and valleys of the Earth. Tori is a very talented actress who is dedicated to who her character is. She contacted me over the weekend and asked if I could possibly do her Senior session. Meet the Hill family that came back for a family photo session. One of my favorite shots of them last year was when I asked them to jump up in the air as a family. Fast forward to this year and the mom requested that shot again! I quickly obliged and it turned out fantastic! Probably one of my favorite urban Senior boy sessions. Okay.......it was my first urban Senior boy session and I loved every minute of it. I love it when Seniors choose urban because there are so many different varieties to choose from in a short radius. This handsome fella is a lady slayer just by his eyes alone. I love that this cute family came back 6 months later for another family session with me. Their first session was amazing and so was their second session. This may be one of my favorite historical locations to shoot at. The barn was so big and old that I could take pictures at it all day. The land was gorgeous and amazing and they even still had a little garden full of pumpkins and corn stalks.Meet the Stevenson's. A great family with awesome children. Oh my, was this ever a fun group of teenagers. Jason Anderson asked me to take pictures of their group and I am so glad he did. Two days later and I get to take pictures of the entire Peterson Family now! I LOVED their girls, who were bundles of energy and personality. The setting and lighting were so perfect that we were able to capture some really great pictures. I think my favorites were when everyone was just relaxed and didn't realize I was taking a picture. Those were some of the best ones, but I like that style because it brings out the natural personalities of everyone. ......

What an amazing time I had with the little bundle of joy who had wonderful yawns.....and an unending hunger! Oh, it was so fun to be reminded of just how wonderful newborns are. It was so fun to meet Camberra. She was the winner of my 30 minute session giveaway and I am so glad to have photographed her.
